Elevate Diversity April Newsletter
April’s packed with purpose—if you’re not volunteering, wyd?

Hey Elevate Fam,
Every once in a while, we get the chance to slow down and reflect, not just on what we’re building, but why we’re building it. As you know, at Elevate, we’re all about the connections: the happy hours, the laughs, the late-night convos, the magic that happens when good people come together. But community isn’t just about the fun, it’s about the foundation. And real community is built when we give more than we take.
That’s what makes this month so special. April is bringing us back to our roots, the heart of Elevate. We’re hitting the streets (and trails, and schools!) not just to show up, but to lift up. To support those who need it most, and to remind ourselves that doing good feels good. And yeah, we’ll say it: helping others is a little selfish… because it fills your soul in a way nothing else can.
Whether it’s volunteering to clean up our city, serving food to families in need, or just showing up to support the cause, this is what community looks like. And we’d love for you to be part of it.
Let’s get outside, give back, and remind ourselves what Elevate is all about. 🧡
See you soon!

Trash the Trash: A Clean Up Hike Party! 🎶🗑️
We outside, but we’re not just vibin’, we’re on a mission.
We’re teaming up with TrashCLVSS (aka the legends behind Vegas’ rowdiest clean-up parties) for a hike-meets-trash-bash collab. That’s right, music, movement, and making the city cleaner, one piece of trash (and one fire playlist) at a time.
These folks have already cleaned up 5,387 lbs of trash, and now it’s our turn to get dirty (but make it cute). Think of it like a hike, but with bops, bags, and badass community energy.
🗓️ Saturday, April 19 | 2:00 PM
📍 Location: TBD (Lake Mead area)
Let’s hike. Let’s clean. Let’s party with purpose.

It's Arab American Heritage Month, habibi! 🌙
Let’s take a minute to celebrate the culture, history, and contributions of Arab Americans across the U.S. and right here in our own city. Las Vegas is full of ways to experience Arab culture and heritage. Here are some fun facts and places to check out:
💨 Hit up Paymon’s Lounge – The first-ever hookah lounge in the U.S. was born right here in Vegas. Pull up for vibes, bites, and a puff or two. 👉 paymonslounge.com
🍹 Check Out Hola Habibi – A Lebanese-Mexican fusion bar in the Arts District serving up specialty cocktails, hookahs, and all the energy. 👉 instagram.com/holahabibilv
🐎 Arabian Horse Show – It’s giving royal energy. Don’t miss the Arabian Breeders World Cup this April. 👉 visitlasvegas.com
📚 Grab a Culture Kit at the Library – LVCCLD is offering fun “take & make” packets to explore Arab culture from home. 👉 events.thelibrarydistrict.org
🍽️ Immerse Yourself in Moroccan – Belly dancers, lanterns, and fire-roasted lamb—this spot’s been serving Moroccan vibes since 1979. 👉 marrakechvegas.com
💡 Fun Fact: Wondering where the most Arabs live in the U.S.? Dearborn, Michigan just became the first Arab-majority city, with 55% of residents identifying as Arab. 👉 Read the history
That said, we can’t fully honor Arab American Heritage Month without acknowledging the ongoing conflict in Palestine and Israel. The heartbreak and complexity of this crisis have touched many, whether directly or indirectly, and we know it’s been heavy for so many in our community.
No matter where you land on the issue, we encourage you to lead with empathy, check in on each other, and hold space for care and compassion. Elevate has always been, and will continue to be, a space for all backgrounds. This month is a reminder that our diversity is our strength, especially in times that call us to stand together.
Our hearts are with anyone impacted. We see you, and we’re here for you. 🧡
🐾 Who Wants a Lil Floof Named Raven? 🐶
Las Vegas shelters are overwhelmed right now, and it’s tough out here for our four-legged homies. But we’ve got one sweet pup who’s ready to change someone’s life!
Meet Raven: a 5-month-old cutie who’s crate-trained, potty-trained, and currently crashing with one of our amazing members. She’s playful, loving, and so ready to find her forever home.
And get this: if you adopt Raven, her current foster fam is down to dogsit when you’re out of town. Uh, built-in community? Yes please.
Interested in fostering Raven? Click the button below, find and click on Raven, then click “Apply for Adoption”, and fill out the application!
See ya next month!
