Supporting Those Affected by the California Wildfires

By now, we’re sure all of us have heard about the devastating wildfires currently ravaging Southern California. Over the past two weeks, three major wildfires—Palisades, Eaton, and Hurst—have forced nearly 92,000 people to evacuate their homes, with an additional 89,000 residents under evacuation warnings across LA County.

We know that a large portion of our Elevate community, about 40%, are from Southern California, and our hearts are with them, their families, and friends who have been or may be impacted by this crisis.

In response, we’re endorsing Direct Relief, a California-based nonprofit providing essential aid to those affected. Direct Relief has a 100% efficiency rating from Forbes, ensuring that every dollar donated goes directly to helping those in need (with no funds allocated to fundraising costs). They’re distributing critical supplies like medications, personal care kits, N95 respirators, and more to shelters and health centers across LA.
